More importantly, Peak Performance Coaching provides the client with positive results and equips the client with tools to sustain and expand greater and greater personal and professional development.

Peak Performance Zero-Point Relaxation

When the famed neuroscientist, Dr. Paul McLean observed that we humans possessed more than one brain in our skulls, we began to understand how we could have such diverse experience in our consciousness such as thinking one way, feeling another, and also behaving in a way contrary to the first two. Now, with advanced brain imaging, we can observe brainwave patterns which occur in response to thought, feelings, and sensory-motor stimulus. Many patterns have been identified that can inhibit learning and memory, patterns related to distractibility, impulsivity, reactivity, and compulsivity. In addition, QEEG brain mapping is revealing the underlying electrical patterns of genius IQ, accelerated sensory absorption and processing, quantum memory retention and recall, as well as the optimum learning state of meta-cognition. Our neurodevelopment self-regulation training includes zero-point relaxation and recharge, open and narrow focus, concentration, flow and zone performance states, and applied intuition and creativity.

Peak Performance Zero-Point Relaxation:
The Foundation of Stress Management:

Advances in Neuroscience have radically transformed the art of relaxation forever. Now we train the peak performer with precision technologies that eradicate stress where it starts. Peak Performance Relaxation is a comprehensive and effective blend of EEG Neurofeedback Training, Heart Rate Variability Training, natural sleep enhancement and other healthy lifestyle components coupled with cognitive tools that help the client learn skills to manage stress before it becomes “dis-stress.”

Peak Performance Concentration:
Accelerated Internal and External Learning:

When the famed neuroscientist, Dr. Paul McLean observed that we humans possessed more than one brain in our skulls, we began to understand how we could have such diverse experience in our consciousness such as thinking one way, feeling another, and also behaving in a way contrary to the first two. Now, with advanced brain imaging, we can observe brainwave patterns which occur in response to thought, feelings, and sensory-motor stimulus. Many patterns have been identified that can inhibit learning and memory, patterns related to distractibility, impulsivity, reactivity, and compulsivity.

We now have practical applications including Neurotherapy, brainwave entrainment, and self-hypnosis, among others which can remediate many of these conditions at the level of the neuronal patterns. When our “multiple brains” are trained to work with singular, concentrated intention, learning is greatly accelerated and enhanced. The client experiences improved memory, increased IQ, and remission of learning problems.

Peak Performance Focus:
Right-Left Hemisphere Balance and Sensory Integration:

Brain research has long recognized that we use our brains for thinking in two very distinctive ways: the verbal, logical, sequential thinking in the left hemisphere and the visual, patterned, global thinking in the right hemisphere. Only very recently has Neuroscience revealed the role of the pre-frontal lobes located just behind the forehead. These prefrontal lobes appear to play a powerful executive role in both enhancing and inhibiting many brain functions. This “gating” function seems to be a key player in integrating and synthesizing the right and left hemispheres allowing the mind to shift more effectively from “open” focus to “sharp” focus with ease. The rapid action by an NFL quarterback depends on this rapid gating function and is usually developed by very few players after many years of practice. Powerful technologies now allow us to train clients in the fundamentals of focus which lead to rapid information acquisition, assessment, and decision-making. These are essential skills for the select few who break out of the crowd into true peak performance.

Peak Performance Leadership:
Internal and External Leadership Development:

True leadership begins with a highly developed sense of accountability, creativity and self-reliance known as “internal locus of control.” This elevated state of self-confidence is achieved through specific neurodevelopment techniques that create and maintain specific “brain states” of enhanced sensory awareness, emotional intelligence, solution-oriented management, and “out of the box” visioning. The client learns the keys to his or her own particular personality style as well as the art of relating to others and developing winning relationships. Peak Performance Leadership Training encompasses multiple models of leadership for different organizational structures.

Athletic Peak Performance:
Mental and Emotional Fitness Training:

Even World Class athletes understand the fallacy behind the myth that some people are just “natural, born athletes.” Whether it is golf, football, gymnastics, basketball or tennis, sports are won and lost in the mind. Mental and emotional Fitness Training is a scientifically-based, state-of-the-art process that teaches the self-awareness and self-mastery necessary to play at one’s peak by enhancing four essential mental attributes: mental focus, mental flexibility, mental sensitivity and mental resiliency. You will learn how to improve focus and attention, regulate energy levels, avoid extreme mood swings, release bad habits, achieve effortless action and play better, having more fun doing it. Mental fitness training uses advanced Neuroscience, self-hypnosis skills, cognitive exercises and computerized progress tracking to help you go beyond your personal best and into the Performance Zone.

Peak Performance Flow:
Achieving the Optimum Zone of Performance:

When UCLA neuroscientists first identified the Executive Attention Network operating in the brains of top test pilots in a NASA research project, the brainwave patterns or fingerprint of the “optimum zone of performance” began to take shape. When these top-gun pilots went into action, the EEG data revealed the Brain Print of Peak Performance Flow--significant bursts of high frequency brainwaves (beta, usually associated with an activity state), followed by bursts of slow brain waves (theta, usually associated with a hypnogogic state) taking place on the mid-line of the brain from the forehead back to about mid-line.

Additional research has suggested that the rapid cycling from activity (beta) to rest (theta) is the rhythm of peak performance. In addition, a few pilots produced more substantial theta during the micro break portion of the rhythm, and these pilots performed at a higher level of proficiency for a significantly longer period of time without fatigue. Our own clients, including professional and Olympic athletes, have proven the effectiveness of Peak Performance Flow training in the classroom, the boardroom and in sports. “Optimum zone performance” is enhancing the lives of many who are committed to becoming the best they can be.

Removing Your Roadblocks to Love, Happiness and Success:
Challenging the Ten Habits of Highly Effective Problems:

One of the most challenging aspects of unlocking the peak performer within you is the identifying and dissolving of highly destructive habits of thought, feeling, and behavior. The reason for this extreme difficulty is that a habit is by definition, the “unconscious” repetition of a pattern. Dr. Jan Ford Mustin’s book, Removing Your Roadblocks, has become an invaluable tool for self-observation and self-development. It allows us to relate to old, inhibiting and self-destructive habits through humor, stories and relationships in such a way as to assist us in transforming these roadblocks into roadmaps.

The Peak Performance Profile:

We are living in the Information Age and thrive on excellent data of every kind. The Peak Performance Profile provides the client with personalized data from a customized, state-of-the-art evaluation. Tailored to the client’s interests and needs, this unique report blends gold-standard assessment techniques from Psychology and Neuropsychology with such Neuroscience tools as the Brain Map to provide truly powerful information. With brain imaging capabilities and other computer-assisted techniques we can measure with extreme precision an individual’s academic aptitudes and intelligence level as well as emotional states, personality type, career strengths and preferences, leadership style, and powers for attending and concentrating.
